The top places to work are determined on quantitative employee feedback, as well as the statements and demographic information that they collect within the Workplace Survey. During the last 16 years, they collected data from more than 27 million employees at over 70,000 organizations.

The Top Workplaces program captures employee feedback on what matters most about their company culture, including engagement, productivity, retention, leadership, pay, benefits, flexibility, and training.

Participants of the regional and national awards programs survey their employees using the Energage Workplace Survey.

Employees are asked to rate 24 statements, including the following:

  • I feel genuinely appreciated at Advantis Medical.
  • I would highly recommend working at Advantis Medical to others.
  • My job makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful.
  • My manager helps me learn and grow.
  • My pay is fair for the work I do.
  • I have the flexibility I need to balance my work and personal life.

The survey results make it clear that Advantis Medical puts its people first.

What Makes a Winner - Requirements

Top Workplaces are determined by feedback captured by the employee engagement survey. Organizations must achieve a 35% response rate to be considered for the award. For organizations with fewer than 85 employees, at least 30 survey responses are required.

Energage statistical tests look for any questionable results and ensure organizations accurately administer the survey. Companies with the highest overall average scores (compared to like-sized companies) qualify as Top Workplaces.
