Job Details

• Facility: UConn - John Dempsey Hospital
  
• Location: Farmington, CT
  
• Unit/Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
  
• Shift: Variable hours based on need - 7am, 9:30am, 1pm with on-call, rotating weekends, and holidays
  

Requirements

• Must be experienced in circulating and the following surgeries: ortho, spine, and neuro (checklist should indicate performs INDEPENDENTLY)
  
• 4-5 years of OR RN or combined OR experience
  
• Scrub experience is highly preferred but not required
  
• 30-minute report time
  
• Will accept COVID medical/religious exemption
  
• Time off requests must be kept to a minimum during your assignment and must be approved prior to confirmation
  
• Please note, holidays off will be limited to 1 of the 3 major holidays and at the discretion of UCONN Health
  
• Mandatory Overtime: During your assignment with UConn Health, you may be required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit
  
• Float: UConn Health may float or reassign you to a different department, unit, or facility (within 30 miles of your originally assigned facility) within your clinical competence
