Requirements

• 2 years of experience required with Cat Scan License
  
• Every Other Weekend Required
  
• Holidays Required
  
• No On Call
  
• No float
  
• BLS required
  
• High School Diploma required or equivalent
  
• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License required
  
• ARRT CT Certification required
  

Additional Information

The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation and assists with interventional and therapeutic procedures. This position requires knowledge of anatomy and physiology, radiological positioning of the human body, and understanding of CT software and hardware. Thorough knowledge of PACS system and maintaining CEU credits is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have 6 months of CT experience and knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system added by the hospital.
