Job Summary: Under general supervision, you will demonstrate your ability to handle nursing problems and perform nursing interventions across a variety of nursing situations. With a schedule of 3x 12-hour shifts per week, this travel contract position offers a rewarding experience in a critical care setting.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualifications required for services: Two years of RN experience in the ICU and demonstrated level of performance and practice is required.
  
• Must have ICU experience at the bedside within the past six months.
  
• Willingness to be flexible for different hours.
  
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
  
• Required certifications: VENTILATOR, BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS, ICU, CARDIAC TELEMETRY, IV CERTIFICATION, MICU.
  
• Additional Education: Degree = ASN Required. BSN Preferred.
  
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
  
• BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, NIHSS certifications.
  
• Certification Preferred: CCRN.
  
• Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write).
