Requirements:
- Must have Level 1 experience required
- Certs Required: ACLS BLS *In Hand*
- 2 years of Stepdown *Must be recent within the last 6 months*
- ICU exp preferred
- A candidate should only be submitted to maximum of one job at a time within all of UH
- Former perm employees must wait until after 6 months to be sent in for a position
- No block scheduling requests, unless for Weekends Only (that will be considered, but not necessarily approved
- MILEAGE REQUIREMENT: Candidate must be at least 60 miles from ANY UH facility to qualify for Travel Rate. Candidates within 60 miles will qualify for Local Rate ($90).
- THIS WILL FLOAT BETWEEN 3 FLOORS - Lerner Tower 3 Primary focus: Cardiac and Thoracic Surgical Recovery Lerner Tower 5 Primary focus: Medical management of high-risk medical cardiac conditions. Cardiovascular unit specializing in: - Vascular Surgery, Electrophysiology procedures, Interventional Cardiology, Hospitalist and Neurology patients
- Fit Test completed on-site. Gentlemen must be clean shaven.
- Per UH policy, candidates cannot request off more than 8 days, with no more than 5 consecutively requested off.
- Valid State License (required at time of submission) Single State OH or Multi State License required to be in hand at time of submission. Temp OH licenses will be accepted with proof (snip from OH BON website) that the OH perm license application is in progress.
- Mile Radius Rule Applies: All Travelers located within 60 miles of any UH facility will be considered local.
- Local Rules: Local rates apply. Anyone within 60 miles of ANY UH facility (regardless of where candidate is physically working) is considered local. Refer to specific job for rate.
- Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby: All Travelers required to float. Lake Health (West & Tripoint) required to float between facilities.
- Copy of Certifications: Required in submission profile.
- Return Staff Policy: Previous UH employees (regardless of status) are ineligible to apply for a period of 6 months from term date. For Surgical Services positions only previous UH employees are not permitted to apply, regardless of term date.
